WOOD
Oak is a naturally timeless essence guaranteeing happy sobriety. Clubtransat strives every day to source and rigorously select this resource, which is drying up over time. We participate in the reforestation of bocage hedges in order to give back to the oak all its marks of nobility.
Douglas fir is selected for its mechanical strength and low natural density. The Douglas fir has a uniform slightly pink color which gives it a unique style. It is the expression of a flexible local wood which has a good growth in all the Atlantic regions.
THE VEIL
Our Batyline sails offer exemplary resistance to bad weather (thermal amplitude -30°/+70°) all without sagging thanks to the SmartYarn* technology developed by the Serge Ferrari group. The guarantee of an elegant and sober product. The microfiber veil is water-repellent which gives it a nice transparency.
With its anti-UV properties, Batyline Iso does not fade with the passing seasons. It is made from recycled PVC residues. Incomparable in terms of resistance to abrasion, mold and possible overloads. This material stands the test of time.
